Business Analyst – Passenger Service Systems (PSS)

About the Role

Cinergie Digital seeks a skilled Business Analyst specializing in Passenger Service Systems (PSS) to join the client delivery team at their Dubai location. This full-time position requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. The candidate will lead gathering and managing comprehensive business requirements spanning Web, Online Check-in (OLCI), Mobile, and Chatbot platforms. Collaboration with various stakeholders including product owners, architects, and developers is central to delivering scalable digital solutions through Agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to analyze and document comprehensive business and functional requirements.
• Lead strategic and tactical software initiatives through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and suggest technology solutions aligned with business goals.
• Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), change requests, use cases, user stories, and process workflows.
• Design mockups, workflows, and process models to effectively convey requirements.
• Convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for developers.
• Maintain clarity, consistency, and completeness in requirements using proven analysis and modeling techniques.
• Evaluate impact of changes on upstream and downstream systems ensuring robust solutions.
• Coordinate with product owners, development, QA, infrastructure teams, and external vendors throughout project phases.
• Manage projects using Agile frameworks; facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Develop and oversee project schedules, timelines, risk and mitigation plans to guarantee on-time delivery.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage defects, and assist in production releases.
• Ensure solutions meet agreed business needs, timelines, and quality standards.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Extensive experience in business analysis for enterprise applications.
• Proven expertise specifically in the Passenger Service Systems (PSS) domain.
• Strong knowledge and experience working with PSS, Web apps, Online Check-in, Mobile apps, and Chatbot platforms.
• Proficient in preparing documentation such as BRDs, SRS, use cases, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Skilled at facilitating stakeholder workshops.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
