Role Overview

The Brand Creative team is a compact yet impactful internal group within Help Scout's marketing division, responsible for upholding the brand's consistency across all customer-facing assets. As a Brand Designer, your creations will reach hundreds of thousands monthly, ensuring all touchpoints align with Help Scout's identity.

This position is ideal for a designer eager to refine their skills and advance professionally. Reporting to the Principal Brand Designer, you will produce polished, on-brand designs spanning from engaging advertisements to web pages defining Help Scout’s public image.

Work Tools

Design primarily in Figma.
Create across static graphics, motion design, and web formats including social media posts, ads, landing pages, and product pages.
Incorporate AI tools where helpful to boost efficiency.
Use platforms such as Slack, Linear, and GitHub for communication and project management.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Principal Brand Designer to deliver high-quality design work spanning various projects.
Design visually compelling ads and social media graphics aimed at broadening brand recognition and audience engagement.
Contribute to larger brand initiatives including the development of an editorial content hub and podcast-related sub-brands.
Work with Product Marketing to enhance the visual allure of product-related content across multiple channels.
Manage a balance between quick, small-scale design tasks and ongoing progress on more extensive projects by breaking them into achievable steps.
Eventually evolve to influence the brand system itself as your expertise deepens.

Candidate Profile

Strong visual designer with sharp attention to typography, layout, and detail, actively honing their craft.
Open and collaborative mindset that values constructive feedback from teammates and cross-department partners.
Proficient in motion and web design skills along with fundamentals in static design, with fluency in Figma.
Effective communicator who utilizes asynchronous workflows to push multiple projects forward simultaneously.
Skillful in utilizing AI and other productivity tools, adept at segmenting work into manageable portions.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, creating clarity for self and team.

Hiring and Work Conditions

All Help Scout jobs are 100% remote. Some roles require candidates to reside within the U.S. or Canada; others are contracted differently for international hires. Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must possess valid authorization to work in their residing country. Compensation

The salary for this role ranges between $95,000 and $105,000 annually.
