Position Overview

The Biologics Technician role based in Sligo involves joining a new team working on a novel drug project. This role requires participating in shift work and engaging in daily production operations within a GMP-compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operating activities of diverse biologics production equipment.
• Operate biologics processes efficiently to minimize material losses.
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with cGMP standards.
• Conduct final product visual inspections and intermediate product packaging tasks when necessary.
• Execute in-process testing procedures and support qualification and validation tasks.
• Handle material receiving from warehouse with document verification and transfer finished goods to inventory.
• Troubleshoot and address production equipment and process issues promptly.
• Safely dispose of domestic, biomedical, and hazardous waste according to regulations and company protocols.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and other teams to develop and update Standard Operating Procedures.
• Adhere strictly to all quality and safety policies throughout all operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Third-level degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in GMP manufacturing environments.
• Experience with antibody drugs, antibody-drug conjugates (ADC), and drug substance purification is advantageous.
