Role Overview
CuraLinc Healthcare is hiring a practical, experienced Billing Manager to direct billing activities and supervise the accounts receivable function. This position fits someone who is highly detail-focused, comfortable building efficient and scalable processes, and able to operate in a technology-enabled services environment.
The role carries responsibility for the accuracy, punctuality, and overall reliability of billing across the business. You will regularly review existing workflows and improve them to strengthen visibility, efficiency, internal controls, and collaboration with partner teams, especially Client Success. The ideal professional combines strong analysis, a proactive approach to solving problems, and the ability to perform well in a growing organization where priorities can shift quickly.

Billing Operations and Month-End Close
- Own billing execution and the month-end close process, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Handle invoice creation, review, approval, credit memos, billing adjustments, and upkeep of billing schedules.
- Oversee AR and collections activity to support cash flow, reduce aged balances, and keep receivables clean.
- Act as the escalation contact for difficult billing matters and customer account issues.
- Work with Implementation, Growth, and Client Success to resolve disputes and keep client expectations aligned.
- Improve billing standardization, consistency, and process innovation to support scale and growth.
- Lead the integration and ongoing administration of billing systems for newly acquired companies.
Leadership and Team Management
- Manage, coach, and develop billing team members through hiring, onboarding, goal setting, performance discussions, and reviews.
- Build a working understanding of operational processes across business lines and the technology platforms that support them.
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize billing and AR workflows.
- Promote a team culture centered on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Controls, Compliance, and Reconciliation
- Strengthen the internal control environment by enforcing billing and AR policies, approval steps, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
- Own AR-related balance sheet reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Provide accurate and timely support for internal and external audit requests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
- Experience using ERP systems; NetSuite, Oracle, and QuickBooks are considered a plus.
Preferred Background and Attributes
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience creating or improving billing processes that can scale.
- Prior work with billing systems and/or ERP software.
- Strong commitment to compliance, documentation, and internal controls.
- Working knowledge of the general ledger and AR reconciliation.
- Interest in automation and process efficiency in a high-volume setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
- Ability to succeed in a multi-faceted environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Healthcare industry experience.
Location and Employment Details
This is a full-time salaried position based in the continental United States or Hawaii. The role is onsite.
