Associate Manager, Business Development

Overview

Primary Duties

• Drive profitable growth across global and regional key accounts for designated product lines.
• Identify and secure new customers within your geographic scope.
• Serve as both technical and commercial authority on specialty inclusions and their applications.
• Develop and implement strategies for key accounts globally and regionally concerning the Taura portfolio.
• Assist regional sales teams with the adoption of business development strategies in Food Ingredients.
• Spot new market opportunities and support the commercialization of innovations.
• Manage intricate customer projects involving pricing, regulatory compliance, and cost factors.
• Lead multifunctional teams to create customer-specific solutions.
• Foster strong relationships through visits to major and prospective accounts as necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in business development or sales in the food or specialty ingredients sector.
• Solid technical and commercial knowledge regarding product applications.
• Experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strategic mindset with proven ability to identify and leverage market prospects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capacity to operate effectively within a global matrix organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.
• Willingness and ability to travel for customer interactions.
• Team-oriented attitude with ability to support cross-functional collaboration, ideation, and strategic planning.

Additional Information

The Food Ingredients business is slated for sale to CVC Capital Partners, with the transition expected to complete in the first half of 2027 pending approvals.
