About the Role
This position within the Advisory line of service focuses on Data, Analytics, and AI. As an Associate, you will contribute to helping organisations discover insights from data to drive business outcomes using advanced analytics techniques. The role encompasses capabilities such as business intelligence, data management, and data assurance to support innovation and growth amid evolving customer and technology trends.
Our approach blends human intellect with machine capabilities to leverage data for risk management and competitive advantage. Delivering business intelligence through an understanding of business context, data, and storage technology is central to this role. Using solutions like Rapid Business Intelligence, data visualisations, and integrated dashboards, we enable agile and interactive reporting to better inform business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data analytics and business intelligence solutions.
- Build and maintain data management systems supporting organisational needs.
- Utilize mainframe technologies and cloud services to manage and analyse data.
- Collaborate with teams to understand business questions and unlock data-driven answers.
Required Skills
- Mainframe development with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS, CICS.
- Data engineering expertise including ETL concepts and SQL.
- Business analysis especially with experience in the insurance domain.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Glue, and others.
Preferred Skills
- Big data technologies including Hadoop, Hive, Spark, CDC tools.
- Cloud security and infrastructure management (VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform).
- Python programming and experience with AWS serverless architecture.
