Role Overview
The Assistant Manager of Visual Operations is a full-time, on-site position located in New York, NY. This role is responsible for supporting the brand's visual standards implementation, such as floor layouts, window displays, and in-store signage, ensuring a unified and engaging customer experience throughout the store. The incumbent collaborates closely with store leadership to analyze sales data, adjust product placements, and develop visual merchandising strategies aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate visual merchandising efforts including floor sets, window displays, and in-store signage to uphold brand standards.
- Lead and assist store teams with executing seasonal and promotional visual updates efficiently.
- Maintain consistency in visual presentation across all departments to enhance store aesthetics.
- Train and mentor team members on visual merchandising guidelines and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends to optimize visual displays and product positioning.
- Prepare the store operationally for new product introductions and launches.
- Work alongside corporate visual teams to implement new concepts and initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in visual merchandising and retail operations with a strong grasp of brand visual guidelines.
- Exceptional skills in organizing floor layouts, window setups, and signage with meticulous attention to design and detail.
- Proven leadership abilities to train, motivate, and collaborate effectively with store teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to utilize sales metrics and store performance data to make informed merchandising decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with diverse stakeholders.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in retail, fashion, or related industries is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
- Minimum education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education related to visual merchandising, fashion, design, or business is advantageous.
