Assistant Designer

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Designer with 1 to 3 years of experience to contribute to trend research, design concept creation, and color story selection, collaborating closely with the Lead or Category Designer for the assigned brand or department.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design process from concept through to final product, ensuring that high standards are maintained.
• Coordinate the development of new products aligned with market trends, customer preferences, and brand standards.
• Manage timelines and budgets to ensure punctual delivery of design projects.
• Conduct extensive market research to identify current and emerging design trends.
• Evaluate competitor activities and consumer behavior to inform strategic design choices.
• Leverage insights to innovate and expand the product lineup.
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Effectively communicate design strategies and concepts to both internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and partners to facilitate smooth operations.
• Ensure all designs comply with company quality and regulatory standards.
• Develop and uphold best practices within design processes and methodologies.

Educational Qualifications
