Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Assistant Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team based in Parramatta. This position involves ensuring compliance with revenue recognition, supporting accounts receivable operations, and assisting in month-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review deal documentation to verify revenue compliance standards are met.
• Address internal and external inquiries related to revenue.
• Support accounts receivable tasks, including cash allocation and processing refunds.
• Prepare journal entries and perform monthly reconciliation activities.
• Oversee the processing of co-agency fees and ensure compliance documentation is complete.
• Contribute to finance projects and aid in enhancing systems and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
• Have 2-3 years of experience in a comparable junior or assistant accounting role.
• Understand accounting and tax principles well.
• Demonstrate intermediate skills in Excel and a strong attention to detail.
• Exhibit excellent communication abilities and capability to meet deadlines.
