Role Overview

This on-site contract position in Somerton, VIC, involves preparing comprehensive architectural and construction drawings such as plans, elevations, sections, and details based on design concepts and project specifications. Daily duties include interpreting sketches and specifications, revising drawings to incorporate design updates, coordinating documentation with engineers and consultants, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The role also encompasses organizing drawing packages for submissions, maintaining updated digital documentation, and addressing any queries related to documentation from the project team. The drafter will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and site teams to facilitate efficient project execution.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience creating accurate architectural and detailed construction drawings.
• Strong grasp of architectural principles and practical building planning.
• Ability to translate design concepts into precise technical drawings.
