PASD Architekten is a medium-sized planning office with more than 35 years of experience in architecture, urban planning, and heritage conservation. Our team of around 60 professionals works interdisciplinarily across locations in Hagen, Hamburg, Berlin, and Cologne. We design and execute a diverse range of projects, including schools, research institutes, town halls, mobility centers, and renovation of listed ensembles. Responsibilities

• Overall strategic responsibility for construction projects.
• Managing and directing all on-site and off-site construction activities with an emphasis on quality, schedule adherence, and safety standards.
• Contract negotiation ensuring legal and regulatory compliance as well as securing necessary permits and licenses proactively.
• Ensuring contract fulfillment and maintaining performance standards throughout projects.
• Leading and coordinating teams and subcontractors effectively.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in architecture, civil engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
• Several years of experience as a construction manager in building construction.
• In-depth knowledge of German construction regulations including VOB, LBO, and HOAI.
• Strong assertiveness, decision-making ability, and a structured working style.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills across all hierarchical levels.
• Proficient use of MS Office and common tendering/project management software (e.g., AVA, scheduling tools).
• Membership in the Hamburg Chamber of Architects is a plus.
