About the Role

As a Timekeeper, you will play a crucial role in accurately monitoring and documenting contractor labor and equipment usage on project sites. Your efforts will support the supervision team by providing verified, detailed reports that reflect daily operations and resource deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily visits to project sites to record and confirm contractor manpower and equipment based on approved schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive daily attendance logs and equipment usage records for each site.
- Prepare detailed reports on manpower and equipment utilization daily, weekly, and monthly using Excel and specified templates.
- Collaborate with site engineers, contractors, and supervision team members to verify accuracy of records.
- Review and confirm the accuracy of time sheets and equipment logs submitted by contractors.
- Identify and communicate discrepancies or shortages in manpower or equipment to the supervision team promptly.
- Organize and manage filing systems for attendance logs, equipment records, and related documentation in both physical and digital formats.
- Create summary visuals such as charts and performance indicators to illustrate trends in resource use.
- Support supervision staff by providing reliable data to monitor productivity and progress on site.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to aid in project supervision and reporting activities.
Collaborations and Reporting
- Report to Site Engineers, Construction Managers, and Project Controls Engineers.
- Coordinate internally with supervision staff, administrative teams, and document controllers.
- Engage externally with contractor timekeepers, site supervisors, and equipment coordinators.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; further training or diploma in administration, construction management, or related disciplines is advantageous.
- Experience preferred: 1 to 2 years in timekeeping, manpower tracking, or a related role within construction or consultancy environments.
Skills and Attributes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of construction site operations and resource monitoring procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills complemented by effective time management.
- Clear and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Capable of working effectively across office and field environments.
- Committed to accuracy, transparency, and punctual report delivery.
