About The Role
The Ardilaun Hotel invites qualified candidates to become an integral part of its Accounts team, working closely under the Financial Controller's guidance. This role focuses on managing and optimizing the Accounts Payable operations to maintain financial accuracy and supplier relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Payable function utilizing Procure Wizard and Sage 50 Accounts software efficiently.
- Receive, process, and verify supplier invoices timely and accurately, including handling Purchase Order inquiries.
- Maintain and update vendor accounts by setting up new suppliers and ensuring data accuracy.
- Prepare payment runs and monitor bank balances, assessing cash flow needs.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller, purchasing, and accounts teams to resolve queries and uphold precise bank account records.
- Support monthly and annual accounts preparation alongside managing employee expenses and company credit cards.
- Identify opportunities to automate tasks within the accounts processes.
- Document and regularly update policies, procedures, and workflows relevant to the Accounts Payable activities.
- Assist with statutory audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors at year-end.
- Provide additional support to the Accounts team as needed.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess a qualification in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Two to three years of professional experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
- Proficient with MS Office suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Reliable time management abilities suited for a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work challenges.
