Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified or finalist Accountant to join our team based in Navan, County Meath, Ireland. This full-time onsite position involves a range of financial responsibilities vital to the company’s accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts to aid financial oversight.
- Compiling and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations accurately.
- Managing the preparation of VAT returns to ensure statutory compliance.
- Assisting with the development of the annual budget to facilitate organizational financial planning.
- Overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure smooth financial transactions.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a qualified Accountant or currently a finalist pursuing qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
- Possessing a strong character with the confidence to assertively challenge or push back when necessary.
