Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and accountable Accountant to oversee daily financial transactions, maintain comprehensive accounting records, ensure adherence to statutory regulations, and generate financial reports to facilitate informed business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting records and bookkeeping activities.
Record purchase, sales, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately.
Conduct bank reconciliations along with vendor and customer account reconciliations.
Manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and management of cash flows.
Liaise with auditors, banking institutions, and tax consultants.
Maintain organized documentation and proper accounting files.
Produce MIS reports to assist management in decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance is mandatory.
Between 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles.
Proficient with Tally ERP or Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance protocols.

Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Capability to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
Familiarity with ERP systems will be beneficial.

Working Conditions

The position involves working six days per week with timings from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
