Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Accountant to oversee daily financial transactions and accounting functions within our hospitality business. The candidate must possess solid accounting expertise, familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, along with competency in Tally and MS Excel. Prior experience in the hospitality sector will be considered an advantage.

Primary Duties

• Maintain comprehensive accounting records using Tally Prime.
• Record and manage daily receipts, payments, journal entries, and banking activities.
• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, vendors, customers, and inter-company transactions.
• Generate monthly reports including MIS, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare and submit GST and TDS returns, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Align GSTR-2B data with purchase registers and address discrepancies in input tax credits.
• Process employee reimbursements and assist with payroll accounting.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, and consultants during audits and financial reviews.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation schedules appropriately.
• Ensure accurate filing and documentation of all invoices and accounting records.
• Oversee vendor payments as well as customer collection efforts.
• Provide support in budgeting, managing cash flows, and preparing financial reports.
• Assist finance-related operations for multiple resort branches.
