Account Executive - Events

About the Role

Viola Communications is seeking a proactive and highly organized Account Executive to join its expanding Events team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves supporting the detailed planning and successful execution of client events, collaborating closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure flawless project delivery. Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic environments and excel at relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of retainer and project-based client events.
• Manage communication and service excellence for client accounts throughout projects.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients, venues, suppliers, and vendors.
• Oversee event logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual arrangements, entertainment, and security.
• Perform market and industry research to enhance event concepts and client presentations.
• Maintain and regularly update databases for venues, suppliers, artists, and partners.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and on-scope delivery.
• Report project status, track progression, and relay client feedback to the team.
• Support on-site event execution and assist in managing any operational challenges.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant event management or client-facing experience.
• Previous agency experience, especially within multinational or regional firms, preferred.
• Exposure to multiple industry sectors is a strong advantage.
• Professional certifications or specialized training in event management are beneficial.
