Event Hosting & Facilitator Internship (Remote, Part-Time)

About the Internship

Marpu Foundation, a youth-driven NGO supported by Indian presidential and United Nations awardees, aims to empower youth as global citizens addressing sustainability and youth-related challenges. We are seeking dynamic and engaging hosts to be the prominent voices and faces within our volunteer community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and host both virtual and in-person events such as webinars and volunteer gatherings.
• Act as the energetic Master of Ceremonies (MC), initiating activities and energizing participants.
• Introduce speakers, manage ice-breaker sessions, and maintain high levels of attendee engagement.
• Facilitate inclusive group discussions, ensuring all participants are heard.
• Optionally contribute to the creation of captivating scripts and content for events.

Who Can Apply

• Individuals available to work remotely during the internship period.
• Candidates available to begin anytime between July 14, 2026 and August 18, 2026.
• Those who can commit to a 1-month duration.
• Candidates with relevant skills and interests in hosting and leadership.
• Women aiming to start or resume their career are especially encouraged to apply.

Additional Information

• Stipend Structure: Fixed monthly pay between ₹1,000 and ₹12,500, plus incentive pay in the same range, totaling up to ₹25,000 per month.
• Requirements include confidence, strong communication skills, a smartphone, reliable internet, and a passion for inspiring and leading others.
• No prior experience is necessary; the internship is open to all students regardless of degree or academic year, especially targeting aspiring moderators, trainers, and policy enthusiasts capable of simplifying complex topics.
