About the Role
The Google Cloud Platform team empowers customers to innovate and grow their businesses using secure, scalable cloud technology. This team serves diverse entities ranging from developers and small startups to large enterprises and government bodies. Within this growing sector, the Small and Medium Business (SMB) group specifically targets SMBs, startups, and digital-first clients.
As an Associate Account Manager, you will develop and expand Google's offerings within SMB companies worldwide, skillfully managing complex customer interactions and stakeholder relationships to foster growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of current Google Cloud customers to sustain and enhance their business engagements.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify and generate new business opportunities within existing client bases.
- Spot opportunities to promote other Google products and services to customers.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to the Product and Marketing teams to refine overall service and experience.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- At least two years' experience in sales, client relationship-building, or account management is necessary.
- Background in technology sales with an emphasis on nurturing relationships and growing business within existing accounts is essential.
- Preferred experience includes a strong interest in cloud computing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Remuneration and Benefits
Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and education. Typical US pay ranges between $68,500 and $98,000 annually, supplemented by a 66.67% bonus target, equity options, and comprehensive benefits.
