Workplace Safety Health Coordinator

Role overview

Greensafe International Pte Ltd is looking for a Workplace Safety Health Coordinator in Singapore to support site safety, environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance, and day-to-day implementation of the company’s safety management system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform statutory workplace safety and health duties in line with the WSH Act.
• Support the rollout and ongoing operation of the EHS management system.
• Make sure all site operations follow the relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct daily WSH checks on machinery, equipment, plant, and installations.
• Spot workplace hazards and put suitable control measures in place.
• Prepare monthly WSH reports, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and permit-to-work submissions according to main contractor requirements.
• Ensure employees and subcontractors follow the EHS management system and all applicable laws.
• Keep EHS documentation, records, and checklists up to date and monitored.
• Support and take part in internal and external audits.
• Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, and submit the required reports.
• Deliver WSH and related safety training.
• Handle other duties assigned by the Project Manager and management team.

Requirements

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, with a valid refresher certificate.
• Work-at-Height assessor certificate.
• Completed risk management course.
• Able to work well with others and also independently.
• At least 2 years of construction experience.
