This fully remote, full-time administrative role supports Chesapeake Oncology-Hematology Associates, a healthcare practice focused on delivering high-quality cancer treatment through advanced therapies. What you will do
- Coordinate calendars, appointments, and schedules for both clinical and administrative team members.
- Respond to incoming and outgoing emails and phone calls in a professional, patient, and empathetic manner.
- Draft, format, and revise letters, reports, and other business documents.
- Keep digital records and patient files organised, accurate, and strictly confidential.
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to oncology and hematology staff.
- Support virtual meetings by preparing agendas and recording minutes.
- Work with internal departments and external healthcare partners to help patient care run smoothly.
What the role calls for
- Previous work as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or in a comparable position.
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and time-management abilities.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and stay on top of tasks in a remote setting.
- Sound judgment and a high level of discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
- A quiet home workspace and dependable high-speed internet access.
- Prior exposure to healthcare or medical environments is preferred, especially in oncology or a related area.
