Web Developer (Webflow & Shopify)

Role overview

Helios & Partners is looking for a versatile web developer with hands-on expertise in Webflow and Shopify. The position focuses on building polished, high-performing websites and e-commerce experiences from start to finish. You will help connect creative concepts with technical execution so that each site is responsive, seamless, and built to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update, and support responsive websites and online stores in Webflow and Shopify, keeping them aligned with the brand and project brief.
• Turn UI/UX mockups and wireframes into accurate, working web pages.
• Customize themes, templates, and CMS setups to match specific client needs.
• Improve site speed, overall performance, and compatibility across browsers and devices.
• Work closely with designers, content teams, and marketers to add graphics, dynamic content, and interactive elements.
• Diagnose technical issues, resolve bugs, and roll out routine updates.
• Set up and manage third-party tools such as marketing automation, ERP, and analytics integrations.
• Track website performance metrics and use the data to generate useful insights.
• Help strengthen internal web standards, documentation, and development workflows.

Skills and qualifications

• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with solid understanding of responsive design.
• Working knowledge of APIs, server-side concepts, and basic database interactions for integrations.
• Practical experience developing, modifying, and scaling sites on Webflow and Shopify.
• Good understanding of e-commerce features such as product listings, cart flow, checkout, and payment gateways.
• Ability to write maintainable code and use Git for version control and debugging.
• Strong eye for layout, typography, accessibility, and user experience.
• Analytical problem-solving ability with a practical approach to technical constraints.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary creative team.
• A degree or formal training in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related area is preferred.
• Real-world experience and a strong portfolio of live Webflow and Shopify projects will be highly valued.
