Role overview
This is a hiring event for Warehouse Operative positions with Lidl Ireland in Newbridge, County Kildare. The focus of the role is to support efficient warehouse operations and help deliver a strong customer experience through accurate and timely stock handling.
Applicants are invited to attend a Recruitment Day at the specified store or RDC on the stated date and time window. The process is fast-tracked and interviews may result in job offers on the same day. Anyone wishing to attend must submit an application in advance and bring a copy of their CV.

What the job involves
- Working across a 24-hour warehouse operation with shifts arranged on a 3-week rota to support work-life balance
- Picking, moving, and loading food and non-food products
- Making sure goods are received, stored, packed, and transported to a high standard
- Carrying out duties in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas
- Picking items onto pallets in the selections area to meet store requirements
- Using a voice-directed headset to follow instructions on where to go and what to pick
- Working to clear performance targets and completing daily tasks efficiently
What you should bring
- Confidence using manual handling equipment, such as an order picker forklift
- A flexible, positive approach to work
- Ideally, previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Strong teamwork skills
- Comfort with a fast-moving and physically active workplace
Pay and benefits
The company offers a transparent pay structure designed to support equal pay across roles. The hourly rate starts at €15.40 and increases to €17.90 after 3 years, with additional supplementary pay for unsocial hours and other qualifying shifts.

Pay progression
Year 1: Basic rate €15.40, unsocial hours €19.25, overtime/Sundays €23.10, bank holidays €30.80.
Year 2: Basic rate €16.20, unsocial hours €20.25, overtime/Sundays €24.30, bank holidays €32.40.
Year 3: Basic rate €16.90, unsocial hours €21.13, overtime/Sundays €25.35, bank holidays €33.80.
Year 4: Basic rate €17.90, unsocial hours €22.38, overtime/Sundays €26.85, bank holidays €35.80.
