Job Overview
Join Vilas Javdekar, a technology-focused developer in Pune known for cutting-edge engineering and timely project delivery with a workforce of 1200 employees. We are seeking Junior Engineers, Engineer I, and Site Supervisors specialized in Mechanical operations to manage shop floor activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise daily manufacturing operations on the shop floor.
- Oversee aluminum fabrication tasks including cutting, welding, and grinding processes.
- Interpret technical documents such as blueprints, drawings, and work orders accurately.
- Ensure all production adheres to set specifications, quality benchmarks, and deadlines.
- Inspect finished components for dimensional precision and overall quality.
- Liaise with Supervisors and staff to maintain smooth production flow and shift schedules.
- Detect and promptly resolve production challenges with technical solutions on the floor.
- Record production outputs, monitor material consumption, and maintain daily logbooks.
- Maintain proper usage and upkeep of machinery like cutting, welding, and grinding equipment.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations, including PPE usage and factory protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to workers on correct operational techniques and safe practices.
- Work closely with procurement and store teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and consumables.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Diploma holders in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- ITI certified in Mechanic, Welder, Fitter, Technician, or Machinist.
- B.Tech or B.E. degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering are also eligible to apply.
