Description de l'emploi
About the Company
Hyprwork is an expanding company focused on direct-to-consumer brands in the health and wellness sector. This particular position operates outside the primary business, supporting the personal content creation for Zainab Mounabbah, the Founder and CMO of Hyprwork and a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree developing her public profile in parallel with the company.
Role Overview
This combined role entails videography and video editing. Responsibilities include filming lifestyle vlogs, daily routines, talking-head videos, and podcast-style discussions, then transforming the footage into polished long-form videos and short vertical clips. The work schedule is flexible, varying weekly based on Zainab’s actual activities rather than a fixed calendar. Some involvement in scripting and conceptualizing content is expected to shape the filming rather than simply recording it. Travel is not expected initially but might be considered later after establishing the working relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- Filming various content types solo without a full crew, including lifestyle and routine vlogs, talking-head, and podcast segments.
- Managing end-to-end post-production: editing, color correction, sound cleaning, captioning, and incorporating motion graphics or lower thirds as needed.
- Creating finished videos for long-form content and short-form clips suited for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Collaborating on light scripting and content planning aligned with the founder’s daily activities.
- Organizing gear and shoot logistics, managing rentals if needed.
- Adapting to an irregular shooting schedule and maintaining productivity without a fixed timetable.
- Maintaining orderly file management and ensuring timely delivery of raw and edited materials.
Qualifications and Experience
- Resident of Canada, able to film in person without relocation or visa sponsorship.
- Demonstrated experience with hands-on camera operation including framing, lighting, and solo filming without a crew.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Background in creating lifestyle vlog, daily routine, talking-head, or podcast content instead of purely entertainment or brand-campaign footage.
- Comfortable working with a flexible schedule dictated by the subject's activities rather than a production calendar.
- Good instinct for producing engaging personal-brand content including pacing, hook, and authenticity.
- Ability to contribute to content ideas and structure collaboratively.
- Reliable, self-directed, and able to work closely with a founder with minimal supervision.
Additional Preferred Qualities
- Experience filming/editing content for founders, creators, or public figures.
- Willingness to travel occasionally later in the engagement, although not required initially.
- Familiarity with short-form content trends and best practices across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Experience in health, wellness, or DTC-adjacent content creation.
Benefits
- A freelance contractor role working directly with a Forbes 30 Under 30 founder.
- Initial trial period to assess fit with potential for a more stable ongoing opportunity.
- Creative control over developing a personal content style from inception.
- Payments made in USD via Wise or preferred wallet services.
