Job Responsibilities
- Producing video content using both original and repurposed footage.
- Understanding project briefs to meet team needs and specifications.
- Creating and reviewing video scripts and raw footage.
- Editing footage segments and arranging sequences.
- Adding music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to videos.
- Creating preliminary and final video cuts.
- Ensuring logical flow and smooth playback of videos.
- Collaborating with team stakeholders.
- Exploring and applying new editing technologies and best industry practices to improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a video editor.
- Strong knowledge of digital technology and editing software such as Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut.
- Demonstrated video editing skills supported by a strong portfolio.
- Experience with special effects, animation, 3D, and compositing techniques.
- Creative storytelling and visualization abilities.
- Proficiency in Meitei, English, and Hindi languages is highly preferred.
- Must own a personal editing workstation or desktop.
Additional Details
- This is a contractual position valid until March 2027.
- Desired experience is minimum two years in video editing.
- Salary range is ₹25,000 to ₹60,000 per month.
