Vice President, Supply Chain Operations

Role overview

This senior leadership position is responsible for steering the external business portfolio while handling both strategic direction and daily execution. The role has full ownership of distribution center performance, oversees key third-party logistics and vendor relationships, and drives ongoing improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operational plans are aligned with broader corporate objectives, manage budgets and forecasts, and remain fully accountable for core performance measures such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and reducing customer complaints.
• Lead everyday warehouse activities, refine inventory control methods to safeguard working capital, and closely monitor compliance with service-level commitments across 3PL and contractor-led functions such as transport, picking, and labelling.
• Remove process constraints, introduce scalable cost-saving improvements, and work with cross-functional partners to improve the wider supply chain network.
• Build and sustain a strong safety-first culture, enforce compliance requirements, and oversee ISO audits as well as quality assurance initiatives.
• Coach, develop, and motivate an adaptable logistics team to achieve high performance at scale.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or another closely related discipline is required.
• Applicants should have 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in logistics or warehouse management.
• A solid understanding of warehouse automation, safety requirements, and profit-and-loss management is important.
