Position Overview

The Vice President (VP) of Supply Chain Management is tasked with overseeing the strategic and operational management of the company's worldwide supply chain. This leadership role encompasses the design and execution of supply chain strategies, supplier relations, procurement system improvements, production coordination, inventory and logistics management, and optimizing the global supply chain network. The goal is to maintain smooth supply chain operations, boost efficiency, and strengthen the company's competitive edge in the international jewelry market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop medium- and long-term strategies to evolve and enhance the supply chain network globally.
• Implement digital and intelligent initiatives to elevate operational effectiveness.
• Allocate supply chain resources aligned with business growth priorities.
• Create approaches for supplier evaluation, development, and management while sustaining relationships with core global suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and stable supply.
• Design and optimize procurement strategies, especially for raw materials like gold, diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals, focusing on cost reduction and maximizing value through market assessments and negotiation.
• Coordinate efforts between procurement, production, quality control, warehousing, and logistics to streamline supply chain activities and standardize processes.
• Formulate inventory management tactics to improve turnover rates and reduce risks, while enhancing international distribution and logistics to guarantee timely delivery worldwide.
• Analyze supply chain metrics, market developments, and potential risks; establish early-warning systems and mitigation plans to ensure consistent operation.
• Collaborate with sales, product, design, production, and operations teams to ensure alignment with company goals and support new product launches and market expansions.

Qualifications

• Extensive background with 20 to 25 years in supply chain or procurement management roles.
• At least 8 years in senior leadership positions such as Director or Vice President.
• Experience in the jewelry, luxury goods, precious metals, or upscale manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Proven skills in global procurement, supplier relations, and managing international supply chain operations.
• Strong strategic planning, negotiation skills, team leadership, and familiarity with cross-border trade and international logistics.
