Job Overview

The Vice President of Operations is a senior leadership role accountable for shaping and executing the company's operational strategies, optimizing business processes, and improving organizational efficiency. Reporting to the COO, CEO, or President, the VP of Operations leads cross-departmental coordination, resource allocation, and performance management to foster growth, cost-effectiveness, operational excellence, and sustainable long-term development. This role is pivotal in bridging strategic planning with effective execution.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement medium- and long-term operational strategies aligned with corporate goals and annual plans.
• Create detailed operational objectives and action plans, overseeing their continuous optimization.
• Build and enhance the organization's operations management framework, promoting standardization, digitization, and scalability.
• Manage daily operations, establish KPIs, OKRs, and performance systems, driving improved efficiency and profitability.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and lead Lean Operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional departments including sales, marketing, R&D, supply chain, finance, and HR to ensure smooth business execution.
• Manage strategic projects by defining objectives, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead digital transformation efforts, optimizing ERP, CRM, and other business systems with data analytics and automation tools.
• Develop risk management and compliance protocols to maintain operational stability and adherence to policies and standards.
• Build and nurture a high-performance operations management team, fostering a culture focused on results, customers, and continuous growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Corporate Management, or related fields.
• MBA, EMBA, or Master’s degree with a focus on Operations Strategy is preferable.
• Over 20 years of experience in corporate operations or general management, including 8 to 15+ years in senior operations leadership roles.
• Proven background in operations management in large-scale enterprises, multinational companies, or rapidly growing organizations.
• Expertise in process optimization, organizational change, digital operations, and enterprise project management.
