Business Operations Department

The Business Operations team ensures operational standards, manages customer leases, produces monthly billing for electricity consumption, generates routine reports, and bolsters operational effectiveness. Collaborating closely with all Vantage departments, this team supports customer success throughout construction, day-to-day operations, and service delivery.

Role Overview

This position offers flexibility to work remotely or from Atlanta, GA, adhering to a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). The Vendor Relationship Specialist plays a crucial role in partnering with operations leadership, OEMs, vendors, and contractors to enhance the vendor experience. Responsibilities include developing RFPs, crafting KPIs to standardize service delivery, leveraging scale to cut costs while improving responsiveness and completion rates, and providing vendor performance metrics to leadership.

Primary Duties

  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal teams and vendors across North America.
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely project execution.
  • Oversee daily operations by enforcing company policies and procedures among staff.
  • Identify and manage delivery risks while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Draft and validate vendor contracts and onboard new vendors.
  • Produce and analyze reports tracking vendor expenditures.
  • Employ effective communication and negotiation skills to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Establish and report vendor KPIs to operations leadership.
  • Create purchase orders.
  • Recommend vendor selections using analytical evaluations of performance and cost.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or vendor management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French preferred.
  • Experience in negotiation and networking is desirable.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and data assessment abilities.
  • Excellent ethical judgment and decision-making capability.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Experience in data center, high-tech, or fast-growing industries is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%, potentially increasing over time.

Physical Requirements

Additional Information

  • Salary range: $95,000 to $110,000 base plus bonus (based on Colorado market data; may vary by location).
