About Metal Power Analytical
Metal Power Analytical is renowned for designing and manufacturing an extensive and advanced range of Optical Emission Spectrometers. With a dedicated focus on elemental analysis, the company has established a global footprint, providing cutting-edge spectrometry solutions across 50 countries spanning six continents.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and bring new vendors onboard effectively.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities and qualify suppliers accordingly.
- Drive cost reduction by enhancing supplier development and negotiating favorable terms.
- Liaise with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to support supplier development initiatives.
- Track and analyze supplier performance metrics including Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service.
- Assist in efforts toward localization and alternative source development.
- Conduct audits of suppliers and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Maintain comprehensive records and reporting related to vendor development activities.
Qualifications and Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering fields.
- Experience relevant to Vendor Development, Supplier Development, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance systems, and supplier management practices.
- Strong abilities in negotiation, communication, and data analysis.
