Role Overview
Barretts Jaguar in Ashford seeks a diligent, proactive, and dependable Vehicle Movement & Site Coordinator. This hands-on position involves managing and overseeing the daily movement, coordination, and control of vehicles throughout the Jaguar Land Rover Ashford premises. The role requires working within a dynamic automotive setting, demanding exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Coordinate the transportation and positioning of vehicles on-site efficiently.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records pertaining to vehicle movements and site activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, drivers, and workshop personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks within a high-paced work environment.
- Support workshop teams to optimize vehicle flow through repair and preparation processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a full UK driving licence for both manual and automatic vehicles is mandatory.
- Previous exposure to the automotive sector, fleet management, vehicle recovery, or transport industries is preferred.
- Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Keen attention to detail to uphold the accuracy of all records and site processes.
- Confident communication capability to engage various stakeholders.
