Role Overview
This position is for a Business Development Executive who has real, hands-on experience in bidding on Upwork and similar freelance platforms. The role is based in Kolkata and requires on-site work. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in online bidding. This is not a field sales or telecalling position.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for suitable IT projects on freelance marketplaces and submit bids for them.
- Create tailored proposals that improve the chances of winning business.
- Communicate with prospective clients and move leads toward confirmed projects.
- Work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure project execution runs smoothly.
Requirements
- Between 2 and 4 years of experience in IT sales or Upwork bidding.
- Demonstrated success in drafting proposals that convert into projects.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Prior exposure to web development, app development, or digital marketing projects.
Compensation
The offered pay is ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month along with incentives.
