Role Summary

We are seeking a full-time Upholstery Cleaner to work on-site in Doha, Qatar. The role involves cleaning and maintenance of fabric and leather furniture, carpets, and soft furnishings using suitable equipment, cleaning agents, and methods. Daily duties include inspecting items for stains or damage, spot treatment, deep cleaning, deodorizing, and ensuring proper drying and finishing. Adhering to safety and hygiene protocols, preparing work areas, organizing tools and chemicals, and maintaining equipment are essential responsibilities. The position also requires professional client interaction, responding to service requests, and supporting the broader cleaning team as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hands-on experience with upholstery, fabric, and carpet cleaning techniques including stain removal and deep cleaning.
• Competence in safely operating cleaning machines such as extractors, steam cleaners, and vacuum cleaners; proper handling of chemicals following safety standards.
• Knowledge of fundamental health, safety, and hygiene practices, including safe lifting and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to assess work quality, detect problems, and ensure excellent cleanliness and presentation.
• Excellent customer service abilities, dependability, and professional demeanor while working at client locations and cooperating with team members.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor, stand for long durations, and move furniture or equipment when necessary.
• Willingness to comply with company protocols, work schedules, and instructions from supervisors; prior experience in professional cleaning or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
• Basic English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages and experience working in Qatar or GCC countries is a plus.
