UI/UX Designer Intern (Unpaid)

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-focused UI/UX Designer Intern to join our team remotely. This internship is unpaid and aims to provide valuable hands-on experience in designing user-centered digital products.

Responsibilities

• Carry out user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Create visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.
• Build and maintain design systems and UI component libraries.
• Conduct usability testing and refine designs based on user feedback.
• Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and consistent with brand standards.
• Keep abreast with current UI/UX design trends, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Figma is required.
• Solid understanding of UI and UX design fundamentals.
• Capable of producing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Good grasp of typography, color theory, spacing, and layout principles.
• Knowledgeable about responsive and mobile-first design approaches.
• Open to receiving feedback and iterating on designs accordingly.
• High attention to detail paired with creativity.
• A portfolio showcasing UI/UX or graphic design work, including personal projects, is preferred.
