Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in South Delhi for a Travel Sales Executive. The job centers on speaking with prospective customers, understanding their travel requirements, and suggesting suitable group, family, corporate, and customized tour options. The role includes managing inquiries through calls, email, and face-to-face interactions, preparing quotes, tracking leads, and converting interest into confirmed bookings.
Key Duties
- Engage with prospective travelers and identify their preferences and trip requirements.
- Recommend appropriate travel packages, including group, family, corporate, and customized tours.
- Respond to customer queries over phone, email, and in-person discussions.
- Create quotations and continue follow-ups until bookings are finalized.
- Keep customer information updated and organized.
- Work with the operations team and vendors to ensure itinerary details are correct.
- Support communication with customers after the sale when needed.
- Take part in promotional initiatives and help improve sales outcomes.
- Collect traveler feedback and share it to refine products and processes.
Required Profile
- Strong ability to sell, negotiate, generate leads, and close bookings.
- Good customer handling and relationship-building skills with a courteous, professional approach.
- Knowledge of domestic destinations, especially Delhi/NCR routes and off-beat travel locations, with the confidence to suggest suitable itineraries.
- Comfort using basic computer tools such as email, spreadsheets, CRM systems, or booking platforms.
- Clear spoken and written English; knowledge of Hindi or another regional language is an added advantage.
- Ability to work from the South Delhi office, manage time well, and handle several inquiries in a busy environment.
- Experience in travel sales, tourism, or hospitality is useful but not essential.
- A minimum of a high school diploma is expected, while a bachelor’s degree in tourism, business, or a related discipline is a plus.

This role is focused on domestic travel sales and requires regular coordination across sales, operations, and vendor teams. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-moving setting and contributing ideas that improve customer experience and overall sales performance.
