Role Overview

This full-time, onsite position involves comprehensive tyre maintenance duties including replacement, fitting, wheel balancing, and accurate air pressure checks. Additional tasks include diagnosing tyre problems, patching punctures, and supporting battery and equipment upkeep. Tire condition inspections for wear, damage, and safety are required, along with effective communication of findings and advice to clients. Maintaining a clean workspace and adhering strictly to safety protocols are also key responsibilities, all aimed at excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven skills in tyre maintenance, basic battery servicing, and general equipment repair.
• Capability to keep workshop tools and machinery safe and operational.
• Strong communication skills for clear interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Prior experience as a tire technician or in related automotive maintenance preferred.
• Basic understanding of various tyre types, load capacities, and safety standards.
• Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks such as lifting tyres in workshop settings.
• Keen attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
• Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or certification in automotive service being beneficial.
