Role Summary
The school is looking for a Trained Graduate Teacher for Social Studies to teach Grades 6 and 7. The role centers on building conceptual clarity, encouraging analytical thinking, and helping students connect classroom topics with real-life situations.
What You Will Do
- Deliver lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and related Social Studies topics.
- Design engaging lesson plans and learning activities that keep students involved.
- Promote question-led, discussion-based, and inquiry-oriented learning in the classroom.
- Evaluate student understanding through projects, assessments, tests, and presentations.
- Keep academic records and documentation accurate and up to date.
Skills Needed
- Strong grasp of Social Studies subject matter.
- Ability to explain difficult ideas in a simple and student-friendly way.
- Comfortable using interactive teaching methods.
- Capability to teach Social Studies and English is preferred.
Eligibility
Candidates with a B.Ed in any specialization and any graduate degree may apply.
Compensation
The salary offered for this position is INR 4,50,000 to 5,00,000 per year.
