The Textile Production Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management within a textile manufacturing environment, ensuring smooth operation of warehousing functions and uninterrupted supply of materials to production lines.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventories of raw materials including fibers, yarns, fabrics, and trims, ensuring alignment with purchase order specifications.
• Evaluate incoming shipments for compliance with quality standards and quantity requirements.
• Administer the issuance of materials to production areas with correct documentation procedures.
• Keep both digital and physical inventory records precise and up to date.
• Coordinate material availability in accordance with production schedules to prevent delays.
• Inform management and merchandising teams proactively about potential shortages or supply disruptions.
• Collaborate with procurement regarding issues like delayed shipments or damaged goods.
• Maintain systematic organization of storage spaces, sorting by lot, batch, or style as needed.
• Ensure proper fabric handling protocols, including climate control measures to avoid damage.
• Implement and uphold safety and fire prevention measures within warehouse facilities.
