Territory Service Representative MLR

Role Overview

This position is for a bikers-based territory service representative with Blue Dart in Chinna Salem, Tamil Nadu. The role covers both delivery and pickup operations, including shipment handling, customer acknowledgment, status updates, and same-day cash-on-delivery remittance to the supervisor.

Delivery Responsibilities

• Remove bags from the vehicle and prepare consignments for processing.
• Scan shipments before moving them through the delivery flow.
• Carry out primary and secondary sorting.
• Outscan shipments according to the assigned delivery route.
• Deliver packages only to the address mentioned on the shipment.
• Obtain customer acknowledgment using the device provided (BYOD).
• Enter the correct status code for any shipment that cannot be delivered at the customer location.
• Complete the delivery process as explained during training.
• Submit COD collections to the supervisor on the same day.
• Return all undelivered shipments to the supervisor.
• Follow the required dress code and carry field bags at every delivery point.

Pickup Responsibilities

• Perform pickups in line with standard operating procedures.
• Reach customer locations on time, within the defined cut-off schedule.
• Confirm whether the pickup location is serviceable.
• Count the shipments at the customer site and secure acknowledgment on the pickup sheet.
• Inscan shipments at the office and complete Rapid entry.
• Handle primary and secondary sorting after pickup.
• Carry out the bagging process.
• Load canvas bags into the vehicle.
• Reach the location in time to ensure onward connection.

Training and Process Notes

The delivery workflow will be explained through training before execution. The role requires disciplined handling of shipments, timely reporting, and adherence to operational procedure throughout the route.
