About Watertec
Established in 1997, Watertec is a distinguished provider of comprehensive and sustainable bathroom solutions in India, focusing on polymer bath fittings, pipes, chrome-plated bath fittings, and sanitaryware. The company operates with three state-of-the-art automated manufacturing plants, 33 service centers, 38 warehouses, and a robust distribution network exceeding 4000 dealers and distributors primarily in southern India. Watertec's bath fittings contributed to 75% of its 570 Crore revenue last year.
In 2023, Watertec was acquired by the US-based private equity firm Warburg Pincus, which has a significant global investment portfolio. This acquisition brought a new leadership team to accelerate organizational growth and transformation.
