About the Role

Join Scotiabank's Global Corporate Functions (GCF) team, the dynamic technology hub that supports Corporate, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets. The RRAE team within GCF is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering and architecture teams. This role focuses on ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery of diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions demonstrating a solid understanding of business functions to solve problems and seize improvement opportunities.
  • Manage small-scale changes and support production issues, handling escalations during release cycles when necessary.
  • Analyze and investigate root causes for ad hoc requests and summarize the outcomes.
  • Coordinate with both upstream and downstream operational teams to communicate issues and changes effectively to stakeholders.
  • Create Technical Specification Documents, Design Documents, Use Cases, and Process Models as needed.
  • Participate in developing detailed project plans, monitor progress against objectives, oversee financial aspects, and garner consensus from users and senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with technology teams through all phases of the system development lifecycle, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
