At our Markranstädt site near Leipzig, we are establishing the world's largest supercapacitor factory featuring state-of-the-art production facilities.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Team Coordinator (m/f/d) to take responsibility within production, ensuring processes are safe, organized, and efficient. You will play a key role in shift operations by managing workflows, supporting team members, especially during night shifts, and making sure production meets the highest quality and safety standards daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production operations to achieve output and quality goals.
- Support and supervise team members, particularly during night shifts.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations, personal protective equipment policies, and evacuation procedures.
- Serve as the point of contact for safety issues during shifts and coordinate responsive actions when incidents occur.
- Plan staffing in collaboration with the shift leader.
- Monitor team performance and adherence to production processes.
- Ensure complete and accurate production documentation is maintained.
- Conduct and aid structured shift handovers.
- Detect and escalate operational concerns as well as disciplinary matters.
- Handle confidential personal and company information responsibly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training, or qualifications such as Meister/Technician, or equivalent technical experience.
- Several years of relevant experience in production is preferred.
- Proven background as a shift leader in a manufacturing setting with shift operations.
- Familiarity with ERP system transaction processes.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new procedures efficiently.
- Methodical, independent working style combined with resilience and flexibility.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and persistence.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
- Fluent in German with good English proficiency.
