Teacher of Physics - AI Trainer

Overview

This role is for a physics expert who can help improve AI models by testing chatbot responses, checking reasoning quality, and solving subject-matter problems to raise model performance.

What you will do

• Present AI chatbots with advanced physics questions and review how they respond.
• Assess model outputs for accuracy, reasoning quality, and overall effectiveness.

What we are looking for

You should have a strong command of physics. A Master's or PhD that is completed or currently underway is preferred, although it is not mandatory. Relevant backgrounds may also include Astrophysics, Biophysics, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mathematics.

Qualifications

• Advanced fluency in English, at a native or bilingual level.
• A careful, detail-focused approach.
• Solid understanding of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and introductory quantum concepts.
• Master's and/or PhD study or completion is preferred, but not essential.

Payment and contract notes

Payments are issued through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal. The company does not request any payment from applicants. Only candidates located in New Zealand will be considered. This is an independent contractor arrangement.
