Job description
Overview
Bon Secours Health System Ireland invites applications for the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist based at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, located in Monavalley Industrial Estate. This full-time position is offered on a fixed-term contract until August 2027. The role focuses on driving recruitment initiatives to secure top talent that supports outstanding patient care. It entails servicing recruitment needs primarily for Tralee hospital with potential involvement in Cork and the Care Village, thus broadening exposure to various clinical and non-clinical vacancies.
Core Duties
- Collaborate with departmental managers to develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies.
- Oversee complete recruitment cycles to assure a positive and efficient candidate journey.
- Assist with onboarding and induction activities to facilitate effective integration of new hires.
- Maintain strict adherence to relevant employment legislation and internal recruitment policies.
- Contribute to employer brand building initiatives, promoting Bon Secours as a preferred employer.
- Be present onsite in Tralee hospital a minimum of four days per week.
Qualifications and Experience
- Mandatory: A third-level qualification (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in Human Resource Management or related discipline, or a QQI Level 5/6 with substantial relevant experience.
- Preferred: CIPD certification and postgraduate credentials in HR or related specialties.
- A minimum of three years' recruitment or talent acquisition experience within a multifaceted, multi-departmental organization.
- Expertise managing entire recruitment processes.
- Familiarity with employment law and compliance standards in recruitment.
- Proficiency in Workday or comparable applicant tracking systems.
- Healthcare sector experience is advantageous.
Additional Details
- Contract: Fixed term through August 2027.
- Salary: Commensurate with experience, aligned to Grade VI Salary Scale (€58,411 to €71,441 LSI).
- Annual leave entitlement: 30 days per year, prorated accordingly.
