Overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing all recruiting and hiring activities in alignment with Allegiant's core values, culture, and strategy as a preferred employer. This role includes leadership and supervision of the talent acquisition team, employer branding, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process. Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), state laws, and Allegiant policies is mandatory. The position involves collaboration with Talent Acquisition Partners, Employment Services, Hiring Managers, People Services, Safety and Security teams, and candidates both internal and external. The Manager significantly contributes to the Talent Acquisition team's success by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring high-quality recruitment and on-boarding experiences. Additionally, this role serves as a subject matter expert on recruitment technologies and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) strategies within talent acquisition.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. in accordance with the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • Must successfully clear a criminal background check.
  • Obtain SHRM and/or HRCI certification within six months of hire.
  • At least five years of experience as a Senior Recruiter focusing on challenging-to-fill positions in Finance, IT, or Engineering.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a large corporation with more than 5,000 employees.
  • Minimum of two years handling talent pipelines using platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of five or more Talent Acquisition Partners, managing hiring, coaching, training, and evaluations.
  • Oversee the implementation, automation, and operation of talent acquisition data systems and related programs specific to Allegiant.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents to forecast and coordinate staffing requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for People Services disciplines related to recruitment, including benefits, insurance, ADA compliance, affirmative action, EEOC, and drug & alcohol programs.
  • Manage the entire talent acquisition lifecycle, including sourcing, pipeline development, college/intern programs, selection, offers, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Lead development and execution of the Employee Referral Program and manage social media presence related to recruitment.
  • Coach Hiring Managers on job requisition design, recruitment strategies, hiring decisions, compensation, and offer negotiations.
  • Partner with Compensation to ensure appropriate pay rate positioning and identify any departmental salary conflicts.
  • Develop and deliver interview and selection training for Hiring Managers.
  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate talent acquisition metrics and quality controls to assess effectiveness.
  • Serve as escalation point for recruitment-related challenges and ensure timely resolution.
  • Administer recruitment software tools such as UKG Pro, ATS, and CRM, managing vendor relationships.
  • Maintain Allegiant Travel Company career site content as a subject matter expert.
  • Build and nurture collaborative relationships across organizational levels.
  • Manage assigned requisitions and other designated programs effectively.
  • Demonstrate and uphold People Services culture, holding team members accountable for embodying customer commitment and service standards.
  • Model Allegiant's customer service standards personally and in leadership roles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
