  • Make sure training programmes address the needs of Graduate Trainees and National Trainees.
  • Manage assigned courses and work with national trainees at different stages of development.
  • Confirm that training delivers the competence levels required by target departments, both for current responsibilities and future growth plans.
  • Review development programmes for UAE National trainees and employees to ensure they match individual and departmental needs.
  • Hold regular review meetings to follow trainee progress, reassess development plans, and decide on next actions for Graduate Trainees in operational and corporate areas.
  • Work with management, supervisors, mentors, and other stakeholders to assess progress against agreed outcomes and understand changing training needs, policies, procedures, regulations, and business initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the EGA Scholarship team regarding sponsored students assigned to work placement, internship, and summer programmes.
  • Collect development plans for students participating in work placement or internship programmes from the relevant areas.
  • Partner with internal teams whenever students need exposure through job shadowing, job orientation, or day-out presentations across the company and different education levels.
  • Identify external course support needs for Graduate Trainees and take action on approved training course assistance.
  • Create purchase requisitions in SAP for approved training course assistance for Graduate Trainee external courses.
  • Work actively with business areas and Graduate Trainees to improve engagement and satisfaction.
  • Arrange familiarization tours for corporate and operations functions, including customized tours for individual Graduate Trainees when requested.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, exhibitions, and recruitment events to attract UAE Nationals.
  • Work with business partners to address Graduate Trainee concerns and escalate issues when needed.
  • Coordinate with the Main Training Centre so Graduate Trainees attend Future Leader courses and submit assignments on time.
  • Follow up with Salary Administration to ensure Graduate Trainees receive increments and other allowances.
  • Liaise with Employee Relations on matters related to Graduate Trainees joining National Military Service and any related concerns.
  • Coordinate monthly with Corporate Communication to publish activities on EGA social media channels.
  • Support summer training initiatives for UAE Nationals.
  • Align with Recruitment so Graduate Trainees are assigned according to their qualifications.
  • Communicate with Recruitment about upcoming Graduate Trainees to obtain profiles and joining details for follow-up action.
  • Ensure Graduate Trainees and relevant areas attend pre-military-service meetings to complete required documents and process steps.
  • Coordinate with Business Partners, Employee Relations, and the trainee’s area regarding resignations and next steps.
  • Work with Performance Management whenever support is required.
  • Collaborate with other team sections to ensure Graduate Trainees transition into roles without disruption.
  • Prepare reports and analyse data when requested by other departments.
  • Monitor other identified Nationals in administrative roles within their areas.
  • Support identified Nationals in administrative roles during progress review meetings.
  • Identify Graduate Trainees in various areas to determine whether they are within budget or intended as replacements.
