About the Role
Join Salesforce as a Tableau Account Executive focused on Mid Market sales in Berlin, Germany. This position involves managing a portfolio of mid-sized accounts, driving new business, and expanding existing client relationships through strategic sales initiatives of Tableau's AI-enhanced customer relationship management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan targeting Mid Market companies within the German region.
- Drive new client acquisition and grow existing accounts using disciplined, value-oriented selling techniques.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial discovery through negotiation to closing deals successfully.
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations and articulate clear, persuasive stories about Tableau’s value, collaborating with sales engineers when necessary.
- Conduct influential discussions with business stakeholders including IT leaders and line-of-business executives.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, maintain pipeline integrity, and uphold clean data practices in Salesforce CRM.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams involving sales engineers, product experts, marketing, and external partners for sales execution.
- Utilize the wider Salesforce ecosystem and cross-cloud capabilities to develop comprehensive customer data strategies.
- Travel within Germany to meet clients, conduct workshops, and secure strategic deals.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a quota-carrying sales role within Mid Market segments.
- Demonstrate consistent high performance with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, earning awards or promotions.
- Exhibit resilience and self-motivation to sustain effort independently across multiple sales cycles.
- Be coachable and self-aware, capable of responding to feedback and taking ownership of outcomes without excuses.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills, inquisitive mindset, and a focus on uncovering root causes rather than simply presenting product features.
- Communicate effectively by simplifying complex information into compelling business outcomes for decision-makers.
