Description de l'emploi

About the employer

This opportunity is with a fast-growing organisation that is undergoing positive change, creating a stable environment with strong potential for long-term career development. You will join a small, collaborative team that values high standards, teamwork, and internal progression. The company is an established, regulated business with a significant global footprint in the medical devices and wider regulated sectors.

Role overview

As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will report to the Supply Chain Lead and operate within a close-knit team of three. The position combines office-based logistics coordination with practical, hands-on work. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include import and export administration, shipping coordination, supply chain data handling, labelling, packing, and physical movement of stock.

You will help maintain, improve, and refine supply chain workflows for both domestic and international shipments, including movements to and from the US, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, and Vietnam. A key part of the role is ensuring that goods coming in and going out are processed accurately and in line with compliance requirements.

What you'll be doing

  • Work under the Supply Chain Lead as part of a focused three-person team.
  • Coordinate logistics activities, including import/export administration and shipment scheduling.
  • Manage supply chain records and related data accurately.
  • Carry out practical warehouse-style tasks such as labelling, packing, and moving stock.
  • Support the flow of incoming and outgoing goods while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Help improve and streamline processes for both local and overseas shipments.
  • Handle logistics connected to multiple international markets, including the US, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, and Vietnam.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in supply chain operations, shipping, and international import/export work.
  • Comfort with a mix of desk-based responsibilities and manual tasks.
  • A self-motivated person who can work independently and take initiative.
  • Someone who is happy to work fully on site in Galway.
  • Previous exposure to regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals is a strong advantage.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as QAD, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.
  • Experience with global logistics is beneficial.
  • A stable career history and interest in long-term progression are preferred.

Offer

The package includes a base salary of €45,000 to €50,000, along with a generous pension scheme and Laya Healthcare for the employee, available immediately. The role offers a secure, long-term environment with a strong team culture and opportunities to grow within the business.

How to apply

If you are interested in a hands-on, on-site supply chain role in Galway and are looking for stability within an established team, this position could be a great fit.
