Supply Chain Specialist

Overview

This position is for a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist working remotely under a contract arrangement. The role offers compensation between $40 and $50 per hour and requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of logistics documents to verify their authenticity, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.
• Create and annotate sample documents demonstrating best practices within logistics and supply chain management.
• Assess current supply chain workflows and propose enhancements informed by practical experience.
• Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, emphasizing document structure and process improvements.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to clarify requirements and demystify complex logistics concepts.
• Engage in quality assurance by confirming the accuracy and relevance of datasets related to supply chains.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated substantial experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly with documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory records.
• Strong knowledge of logistics procedures, supply chain documentation, and international supply chain operations.
• Excellent English communication skills capable of simplifying complex technical ideas.
• High attention to detail when reviewing and generating supply chain documentation.
• Proficient analytical abilities with a track record of identifying and implementing improvements in logistics processes.
• A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is advantageous.
